Our Founder
TGT was started by Kirsten Snowdon. Kirsten has more than 18 years experience as a Tour Guide both locally and internationally. After training as a Tour Manager in the United States, she worked extensively in the Canadian Rockies and Southern Ontario/Quebec.
During the travel boom in the 1990's she spent much of her time overseas in Portugal, Spain and Northern Africa. Here she gained extensive knowledge of dealing with difficult people, working with language barriers and keeping the travelers happy at all costs. After years on the road, she decided that a school in Canada was in order. Kirsten holds a diploma in Teaching Adult Learners and teaches tourism courses at various community colleges.
Her love of the road means she continues to work as a Tour Guide when not training. Kirsten has recently been named "Teacher of the Year" by George Brown College for 2004.
Our Mission
TGT believes that education is the foundation of all professions. It is vital for both personal and social development and is instrumental in providing a positive self-image. We strive to provide an environment in which students are able to reach their full potential.
